Gary Cook: Drums,Vocals
He has had the opportunity to play professionally since he was 14 yrs old and make music with some amazing people and play and record around the mid west,and because of his experience and knowledge he provides most of the musical and production direction for the band. He also hits the drums like they owe him money.
Matt Gilmer: Bass, vocals
Matt's been playing drums since 9, guitar since 12 and has played in alternative rock bands around the Twin Cities since high school. He's a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in music composition, but the Bar Chords tells him to just stand in the back and hit the right notes.
Carlos Gonzalez: Lead guitar
A lead guitarist with influences ranging from punk to R&B. Carlos avidly searches for that perfect guitar tone.
Jim Souhan: Lead vocals, guitar
Sportswriting was his dream vocation, playing in a fun band was always his dream avocation, and the Bar Chords have given him a chance to play his favorites - and songs he didn't know would become his favorites. He'll tell you there is nothing in the world like being in a band.
